Experience

Bill advises founders, investors, and operating companies on mergers and acquisitions, private financings, and complex corporate matters. His practice is focused on serving as strategic transaction counsel and outside general counsel to businesses navigating growth, capital formation, and operational risk.

He regularly represents clients in connection with M&A transactions, venture and startup financings, corporate governance, commercial contracting, and other strategic business matters. Bill has particular experience advising clients in highly regulated industries, including cannabis, hemp, manufacturing, and businesses involved in the production and sale of goods intended for human consumption, where transaction execution and regulatory compliance must be managed in parallel.

Clients rely on Bill for thoughtful judgment, disciplined drafting and negotiation, and practical legal advice in high stakes matters. Before entering the legal profession, he worked in technology project management, and that experience continues to inform his business-oriented approach to counseling clients.
