Experience
Joe is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on commercial litigation and business disputes. He protects Levin Ginsburg’s clients, both businesses and individuals, with legal foresight and practical problem-solving solutions. Prior to becoming an associate attorney, Joe gained valuable experience in a wide variety of commercial practice areas, including litigation and corporate, as a law clerk at Levin Ginsburg. Joe has litigated a broad range of commercial matters including contract disputes, landlord-tenant claims, business torts, non-compete and non-solicitation disputes, and misappropriation of confidential information cases. Additionally, Joe has extensive experience in negotiating licenses and contracts with government entities. During law school, Joe served as a legal writing assistant and competed and placed nationally on several Moot Court, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arbitration teams. Joe was also a member of the Moot Court Honors Council and, just before joining Levin Ginsburg, externed for the Honorable Judge Melissa A. Durkin of the Circuit Court of Cook County.

Joe is a graduate of the UIC John Marshall Law School, practicing all facets of commercial law.

Currently, Joe is a board member of the Face the Future Foundation, a member of the Justinian Society of Lawyers and a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
Personal
Joe obtained his undergraduate degree from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. While there Joe walked on and was eventually named Captain of the Denison University Baseball team. He is also a Chicago Marathon finisher.
