His practice centers on mergers and acquisitions, financings, shareholder and partner investments, buyouts, and executive employment matters, with a consistent focus on aligning legal strategy with long-term business objectives.

Walker regularly quarterbacks sophisticated transactions for privately held companies, guiding clients through deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and execution. He works closely with senior leadership teams to manage risk, preserve enterprise value, and maintain strategic continuity following a transaction. His approach is practical and forward-looking, emphasizing clarity, efficiency, and informed decision-making throughout the deal process.

In addition to transactional work, Walker partners with business owners to proactively manage employment and regulatory risk. He advises clients across the full lifecycle of the employee relationship, helping them mitigate exposure related to wage and hour compliance, discrimination and retaliation claims, trade secret protection, and government investigations. His work includes conducting sensitive internal investigations, counseling leadership through high-impact personnel decisions, and implementing employment policies designed to support growth while reducing risk. As technology continues to evolve, Walker also advises clients on the compliant and ethical integration of emerging tools, including artificial intelligence, into their business operations.

Walker represents C-suite executives at both publicly traded and privately held companies, negotiating executive compensation arrangements, complex equity and incentive plans, restrictive covenants, and separation agreements during pivotal career transitions. When disputes cannot be avoided, Walker is a zealous and pragmatic advocate, representing clients in federal and state courts, arbitration forums, and administrative proceedings with a focus on efficient, commercially sound outcomes.
